Perimenopause doesn't have to mean losing yourself.
For many women in their 40s, perimenopause arrives quietly — and then all at once. Sleep starts breaking down. Moods shift without warning. Weight moves in directions it never has before. Foods you've eaten for decades suddenly don't agree with you.
And when you go to your GP, you're often told your bloods are "normal."
But you know something isn't right. And you're not wrong.
Perimenopause is not a disease. But the hormonal and nervous system shifts that come with it are real, measurable, and — with the right support — absolutely workable.
My goal is simple: I want you to feel like yourself again.
Why perimenopause feels so confusing
Perimenopause isn't just about oestrogen dropping. It's a whole-body transition involving your nervous system, your gut, your stress hormones, your sleep architecture, and your immune function — all shifting at the same time.
That's why symptoms overlap and don't make obvious sense. It's why you can be exhausted all day and wired at 2am. It's why cutting out food groups helps for a week and then stops working. The individual symptoms aren't the problem — they're signals from a system under load.
My job is to read those signals and find the root cause underneath them.

Hormones & the HPA axis
We look beyond basic oestrogen and progesterone. I use the DUTCH test to map your full hormone picture — including cortisol patterns, metabolites, and melatonin — so we can see exactly what's happening and why.

Gut health & inflammation
The gut microbiome changes significantly during perimenopause, and with it, how you process hormones, absorb nutrients, and respond to food. Reactive digestion, histamine symptoms, and sudden food intolerances are often the gut's signal that it needs support.

Nervous system & stress load
Your nervous system is the command centre for all of this. When it's dysregulated — running on cortisol, stuck in fight-or-flight — nothing else can fully recover. Rebuilding nervous system resilience is central to everything I do.
This is for you if…
-
You've been told your bloods are normal, but you know something is off
-
You've tried things — supplements, elimination diets, more sleep — and nothing sticks
-
You're functioning, but at a fraction of your usual capacity
-
You want to understand what's driving your symptoms, not just manage them
-
You're ready to work with your body, not fight it
I'm currently navigating perimenopause myself.
I know what it feels like to wake at 3am with a racing mind. To have a clinical understanding of exactly what's happening hormonally — and still find it confronting. I bring that lived experience to every consultation, alongside 20 years of clinical practice and evidence-based testing.
You won't be dismissed here. And you won't be handed a generic protocol.
If your body has been trying to tell you something, let's listen to it together.
