Your body feels different. You just want to understand why.
You're exhausted, but you can't seem to sleep properly.
Your weight is creeping up, particularly around your middle, even though you haven't changed how you eat. Your brain feels foggy. Your patience is shorter. You feel anxious, overwhelmed or unlike the person you used to be.
Your digestion is unpredictable. Your energy comes and goes. You might wake at 3 am with your mind racing, struggle to concentrate during the day, or find that things you once managed easily now feel exhausting.
Perhaps you've had blood tests and been told everything looks normal. Maybe you've tried changing your diet, exercising more or taking supplements, but you're still not feeling like yourself.
And you're left wondering: Why is this happening to me? Is this just what getting older feels like? And will I ever feel like myself again?
If you're nodding along, I want you to know that you don't have to dismiss what you're experiencing or simply push through.
Perimenopause can bring changes that affect many areas of your health and wellbeing. But your symptoms deserve to be considered in the context of your individual health history, not automatically attributed to hormones or treated as unrelated problems.
I'm Karyn Campbell, a qualified naturopath with 20 years of clinical experience. Through Hābu Health, I support women navigating perimenopause, hormonal changes, digestive concerns, fatigue, stress and the feeling that their body is no longer responding as it once did.
My approach looks at the bigger picture, helping you better understand your body and develop a personalised plan that considers your individual needs.
You deserve to feel heard, understand what's happening and have support that looks beyond the symptoms.
My journey into naturopathy
After spending time travelling and gaining experience in the natural health industry, I decided to return to study and pursue my passion for naturopathy. What began as a passion has since grown into a career spanning 20 years of clinical practice.
Throughout my career, I've continued to develop my knowledge and experience, working alongside other health professionals and deepening my understanding of the many factors that influence health and wellbeing.
Today, my clinical focus is women's health, particularly perimenopause, alongside digestive health, hormonal wellbeing, stress and nervous system regulation.
My passion for natural medicine also extends to horses. As an equine herbalist, I bring my interest in herbal medicine together with my love of horses to support their health and wellbeing.
Why I became a naturopath
There's a reason I do what I do.
It took six GPs and four gynaecologists before someone finally listened to me. Before someone looked at the whole picture rather than just the symptom in front of them.
I was called "the problem patient" by a specialist who had just operated on me.
It wasn't until I sat across from a naturopath that I finally felt heard. Someone took the time to listen, look deeper and help me understand what was happening.
That experience changed my perspective on health and played a significant part in why I became a naturopath.
It's why I practise the way I do today: taking the time to understand your story, asking thoughtful questions and considering how different aspects of your health may be connected.
Because when you're struggling with fatigue, digestive problems, disrupted sleep, mood changes or weight changes, you want more than another suggestion to try.
You want someone to listen. Someone who considers your health history, investigates appropriately and helps you understand your options.
That is the kind of care I want every woman who works with me to experience.
My approach to perimenopause: look at the bigger picture
Perimenopause isn't just about hormones.
Hormonal changes can occur alongside changes in sleep, mood, energy, digestion, stress tolerance and body composition. These experiences can overlap, and other health conditions can contribute to similar symptoms.
That's why I don't believe in treating every symptom as an isolated problem or offering the same plan to every woman.
Instead, I consider your individual symptoms, health history, lifestyle, nutritional needs and goals to help identify areas that may benefit from further investigation and support.
My naturopathic approach brings together herbal medicine, nutritional support, lifestyle strategies and appropriate functional testing where indicated.
The aim is to help you understand your health more clearly and create a personalised approach that fits your body, your circumstances and your life.
The Perimenopause Reset program
Reclaim You. Feel Like Yourself Again.
The Perimenopause Reset is my personalised 6-week program for women navigating perimenopause who want to understand their symptoms and take a more considered approach to their health.
Rather than focusing on one symptom, the program brings together three interconnected pillars.
1. Calm Your Body
Support your nervous system, stress resilience and sleep.
When you're constantly running on empty, feeling wired but tired, or finding it harder to cope with everyday pressures, it can be difficult to know where to start.
We consider stress, nervous system regulation, sleep patterns and emotional wellbeing as part of your overall health picture.
The focus is on developing practical strategies to support relaxation, recovery and resilience.
2. Restore Your Balance
Explore hormonal health, metabolism and energy.
Are you gaining weight around your middle, experiencing changes in your mood or struggling with energy levels that no longer feel predictable?
We look at your individual symptoms, health history and relevant factors that may influence hormonal wellbeing, blood glucose regulation, metabolism and energy production.
Where appropriate, further investigation can help inform your personalised plan.
3. Nourish Your Foundations
Build the foundations that support your overall wellbeing.
Your digestive health, nutrition and everyday habits all form part of the bigger picture.
If you're dealing with bloating, unpredictable digestion, changes in bowel habits or uncertainty about what to eat, we consider your individual nutritional needs and digestive concerns.
Together, we explore practical ways to support gut health, digestion, nourishment and sustainable lifestyle habits.
Bringing the three pillars together
These three areas aren't separate boxes to tick. They form an integrated approach to understanding your health.
Your personalised plan is guided by your symptoms, priorities and progress throughout the 6 weeks.
The goal is to help you make sense of what you're experiencing, identify appropriate areas for support and feel more confident in the decisions you're making about your health.
You don't have to work it all out on your own.

Supporting Your Family's Health
While my clinical focus is women's health and perimenopause, naturopathic care can extend beyond one stage of life.
I also welcome clients seeking individualised support for other health and wellbeing concerns, including partners and family members. Whether you're looking for support with digestive health, stress, nutrition or general wellbeing, my approach considers the individual, their health history and their unique needs.
Because looking after your own health matters, but supporting the wellbeing of the people you love matters too.
Through online consultations, Hābu Health provides naturopathic support to clients across Australia.

Working with Hābu Health
Hābu Health provides online naturopathic consultations for women across Australia, with a particular focus on perimenopause and the health changes that can arise during midlife.
You don't need to live locally to access support. Consultations are conducted online, allowing us to work together wherever you are in Australia.
Whether you're struggling with sleep, energy, digestion, weight changes, mood or simply feeling unlike yourself, the first step is a conversation about what you've been experiencing and what you'd like help with.
My aim is to help you feel listened to, understand your options and develop a plan that considers your individual needs.
Alongside my women's health practice, I also offer specialist equine herbal medicine consultations for horse owners seeking individualised herbal and nutritional support for their horses.
